what is your opinion, is visiting Israel enough in terms of support from people in the diaspora to the holy land?
This is an independant poll by BAIS-Bloggers About ISrael

could you elaborate?

Support for the holy land comes in various forms. There is monetary support, visitation support and general active or passive support. Any type of support assists and keeps Israel strong and positive.

What would constitute passive support. How do all these forms of support bar visitation support, express a practical connection to the land as a Holy land moreover than a political homeland?

passive support could be attending the Yom Haatazmaut celebrations outside of Israel.

'Holy' comes in many forms, one example could be planting a tree for Israel. Adding in beauty and holiness to the land.

I have to admit that i disagree with your interpretation of passive support. I THINK THAT ATTENDING A YOM HAATZMAUT CELEBRATION IS A HIGHLY COMMENDABLE THING TO DO PARTICULARLY IN THE DIASPORA. HOWEVER THE PEOPLE WHO THE LAND BELONGS TO HAVE TO BEUATIFY THEMSELVES BY ACTING IN A HOLY MANNER. WHICH IN THE LEAST WOULD MEAN SUPPORTING THE POOR OF ISRAEL THAT ARE UNFORTUNATELY MANY. tHAT DOESNT MEAN THAT YOU HAVE TO BE A ROTHSCHILD, A FEW DOLLARS TO AN ISRAELI LINKED INSTITUTION IS ENOUGH. PARTICULARLY TOWARDS EDUCATION.
